Ian Griffiths / Juno Star
Ian Griffiths is a New York City–based filmmaker, photographer, writer, and musician behind Starry Eye Media. He works with artists, creative teams, and businesses on projects ranging from music videos and cover artwork to educational content.
His approach grew out of making his own work: learning the camera, lighting, sound, and editing skills needed to bring an idea to life with the resources available. His background spans professional performance and on-camera coaching, alongside customer education and senior technical account management at Rippling. That combination informs both how he develops a project and how he works with people.
Ian starts by understanding what a collaborator wants to express, then builds a practical plan for getting there. He combines careful preparation with the flexibility to adapt on set and in the edit, keeping the work grounded in the person or purpose behind it. He also writes, produces, and releases music as Juno Star.
WORKING APPROACH
Start with the idea. Build a practical plan. Make room for discovery.
I begin by understanding what you want to make, how you want it to feel, and what we have to work with. From there, I develop a clear approach to the concept, production, and delivery. That preparation gives us room to try things, solve problems, and make decisions without losing sight of the original goal.

PERFORMANCE BACKGROUND
Ian is a SAG-AFTRA member with acting experience in television, commercials, and film. He has also performed at Second City and trained with Upright Citizens Brigade in New York.
That experience informs his work behind the camera: communicating with performers, shaping a scene, and helping people feel comfortable and specific on camera.
